Champions Place is set in the picturesque village of Limpsfield Chart on the Surrey / Kent borders.
The home is set in six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens.
Champions Place is registered by Surrey County Council and is proud to be a member of the Surrey Registered Home Association and Surrey Care Association.
The home has been extensively refurbished and brought up to modern health and safety standards and to CQC requirements, whilst retaining all the gracious elements of times gone by.
With over forty five years of experience in the care industry, Roger Sparkes (Founder) supported by his manager Sandra Hayworth, pride themselves on offering a highly professional care service with a personal touch.
We are pleased to offer long term, short term, and respite stays at Champions Place to adults with learning disabilities.
When people have been disadvantaged throughout their lives, they deserve the necessary support to achieve their wishes. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, but a family feeling still exists. With staff who have the time to give attention to the smallest detail.
Where they have the choice of enjoying the company of others and making long term friendships.
Our Parents searched for years to find my Brother a Home that would suit his needs. Champions Place is one in a million. From the beautiful surroundings to the wonderful care provided by all the staff. There was always a good balance between individual preferences like shopping or helping in the Kitchen whilst remaining part of the overall community. When he became ill everyone at Champions Place cared for him so well and treated him with the utmost respect and dignity. Jeremy loved “Champs” and they loved him and that is what makes the difference.
We have worked with Champions for several years in a professional capacity, supporting individuals from Champions who attend our Community Day Service. Our relationship with Champions has consistently been built on trust, clear communication, and a shared commitment to putting each individual first.
The management and staff at Champions are always approachable, supportive, and demonstrate an exceptional standard of care and compassion for the people who call Champions their home.
They actively involve us when individuals request our presence at reviews or social events, ensuring that every aspect of their support remains truly person-led.
My sister in law has been in care since the age of two.I have known her since the age of ten,visiting the many homes she has lived in over the years.Champions is the best home she has lived in after they shut Princess Christian’s home .She has been all over the place from then until moved to Champions.She still went to the farm at Princess Christian’s until the work got too much for her. Elaine loves to come and see her family when we can get everybody together.
She is always ready to go “home “which shows how happy she is at ChampionsPlace.Her brother and I are pleased that she was able to live at Champions where she is very happy and well cared for by all the staff.
Champions Place is a wonderful home and the grounds are outstanding. My sister has lived at Champions for about five years now and has never been happier. Sandra, the Manager and her team of staff are extremely kind and caring, they understand what Marion's needs are. She does lots of activities outside of Champions and also gets to help out in the kitchen. My siblings and I couldn't wish for a better place for her to be living.
My sister has been a resident at Champions Place for fifteen years. It was hard for her to adjust to being care after living at home for more than 60 years, but the staff worked so hard to help her and our whole family with the change.
Everyone there is so caring and we feel so lucky to have my sister there. We can visit anytime unannounced and know that the atmosphere is calm and just a happy place to be.
